Kristi Angevine, account manager, specializes in media relations, branding, new media and marketing and brings both a news and PR background to Gable PR. For the past decade, she has worked for some the world’s top news organizations, including CNN in Atlanta and FOX News in Washington D.C.

She previously served as an account supervisor at Berkman PR, where she represented hospitality, non-profit, professional and real estate clients. She has been awarded a Bernays Awards for PR Excellence from the San Diego Chapter of the PR Society of America for her non-profit work on behalf of Scripps Mercy Children Outreach Program.

Kristi also served as a TV reporter for San Diego’s XETV-Fox 6 news team and covered a wide range of breaking news stories, including largest immigration march in San Diego’s history and the City Hall corruption trial. In 2003, she also was a general assignment reporter for WTVM News Leader 9 and FOX 54′s One Hour Earlier based in Columbus, Ga. She covered military affairs at Fort Benning, Election 2004 and four devastating hurricanes that sweep through Alabama and Florida.

Kristi has a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from American University, where she was a Merit Award Scholarship Recipient. She has her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She currently lives in Carmel Valley with her husband and two year old son.
